Deborah schuurmans is a Katarakwi (Kingston), Ontario multi-disciplinary artist, classically trained pianist, composer and educator. Her recent works blends expressive piano music with storytelling, creating spoken word and nature-inspired video projects. Her musical style draws from ambient and neoclassical traditions, exploring themes of time, nature reflection and human connection.

Originally from Saskatchewan ,Deborah is a certified Suzuki piano teacher and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Queen's University. Alongside her creative work, she maintains and active piano studio and continures to share music through live performances , recordings, and collaborative artistic projects.
